3. Logging

Find out which hosts have been using PwdGenD:

PWDGEND.NLM keeps a usage log of all requests (passwords are never written to the log file) in a file called "SYS:ETC/PWDGEN.LOG" which may be renamed or deleted without having to first shut down PWDGEND.NLM.  Entries are added to this log file after communications with the client have been completed in order to optimize response time.

The format of the log file closely matches that of the common log format generated by Apache Web Server so that common reporting software may be used to determine usage trends, reveal geographical popularity, and track bandwidth usage.
